Foreign Asset Documents for Amazon Employees: Your RSU Filing Checklist
Hold Amazon stock units (RSUs) through Morgan Stanley or Fidelity? Here is a simple, at-a-glance guide to the documents we need to file your ITR with confidence. Your Amazon stock units are a foreign asset, so these statements let us report your income and disclose your holdings correctly in Schedule FA of your return.
If your broker is Morgan Stanley
- Open your Amazon stock portal and select Your Morgan Stanley account. This opens your Morgan Stanley at Work account.
- Open the Documents tab.
- Choose the Statements option, then select the quarterly statements you need. For vesting, download the four quarterly statements from the last calendar year (31 March 2025, 30 June 2025, 30 September 2025, and 31 December 2025). If you also sold shares (capital gains), download one more quarter, the 31 March 2026 statement, since capital gains are worked out on the tax year, April to March.
If your broker is Fidelity
- Open your Amazon stock portal and select Your Fidelity account.
- Open the Statements / Records tab.
- Select the previous calendar year from the dropdown, then download every statement listed. For filing in 2026, choose 2025. If you also sold shares (capital gains), select 2026 as well and download the January to March 2026 statement.
You are all set
Once you have your statements ready, upload your Amazon RSU documents to the FinYatri ITR filing dashboard and we will take it from here. We will use them to file your taxes accurately, so you can relax knowing it is handled.
