ITR Filing with FinYatri
Share your documents and a dedicated tax expert takes care of the rest.
Start ITR FilingA tax expert handles your return, start to finish
Upload your documents and a dedicated expert takes it from there. They compare both tax regimes with your actual numbers, prepare your draft on the regime that saves you more, and file only when you say you are ready. Your documents stay private between you and your tax expert, and nothing reaches the Income Tax Department until you approve the draft.
Whatever your year looked like
- Salary and Form 16. One employer or several. We merge multiple Form 16s so exemptions and deductions are never double counted. Rental income is covered too.
- RSUs, ESPPs and foreign shares. Perquisite workings at vesting, lot by lot gains, Schedule FA disclosure and Form 67 foreign tax credit.
- Capital gains. Stocks, mutual funds and property sales, including Section 54 and 54F reliefs when you reinvest.
- Your whole family. File for yourself and your family members from one account, each with their own space and checklist.
Which ITR form applies to you
You do not need to work this out yourself. We determine the correct form from your actual income sources. ITR-1 usually fits straightforward salary and one house property. ITR-2 applies once capital gains or foreign assets are involved. ITR-3 applies when there is business or professional income. ITR-4 covers presumptive income from a small business or freelancing. If you hold shares in an overseas employer, your return almost always needs ITR-2 or ITR-3, because Schedule FA does not exist in ITR-1 or ITR-4.
How it works
- Choose a plan and share your documents. Your document checklist appears right on your dashboard, so you always know what we need.
- Your tax expert prepares the return, compares both regimes and sends you a draft with the workings.
- You read the draft, ask anything you like, and we file only once you are comfortable.
What you get
- A dedicated tax expert who knows your case
- A regime comparison done on your real numbers

Documents to keep ready
Nothing here is a barrier to starting. Frequently asked questions
Who actually prepares and files my return?
A dedicated tax expert. The same person handles your return from the documents you upload through to filing, so you are not re-explaining your situation to someone new each time you ask a question.
Do I see the return before it is filed?
Yes. We prepare a draft and send it to you first. Take as long as you need to read it and ask questions. Nothing is filed with the Income Tax Department until you are comfortable with it.
I changed jobs this year and have two Form 16s. Can you handle that?
Yes. Multiple Form 16s are a normal part of what we file. Send us all of them and we will merge the income details and make sure deductions and exemptions are not double counted across employers.
Will you tell me whether the old or new regime is better for me?
Yes. We compute your liability under both regimes using your actual numbers rather than a rule of thumb, and we tell you which one leaves you better off and by how much.
Can you file my return if I have RSUs, ESPPs or foreign shares?
Yes, and it is one of the areas we handle most often. That includes the perquisite working at vesting, lot by lot capital gains, Schedule FA disclosure and Form 67 where a foreign tax credit applies.
